Introduction to the Music Video

        Hi, its Mela! I’m so excited to be back working on another project! I'm in tenth grade at Fort Lauderdale Highschool, go flying L's! I was born in Fort Lauderdale in January two-thousand eight. My zodiac sign is a Capricorn. The most important thing to me is my family and friends. My mom is from Trinidad and my dad was born in Tampa Florida. I love living Florida because of the mostly sunny weather, and I enjoy going to the beach with my friends. I grew up playing soccer for many years as a defender and also like to watch games. Additionally, I am a fan of volleyball and play with my friends often. I have two dogs one named Rocco a Neapolitan mastiff and one named Blu a yorkie. However, I want to get a cat as well in the future. My favorite subject is probably reading or writing, I have a passion for writing and sometimes write in my free time. This summer I had lots of fun and did many exciting things such as hanging out with my friends. I also got the opportunity to volunteer as a server at a Christan camp in Orlando and got to work as a server with my friends and it was a very memorable experience. 


            I am excited to start creating and producing videos as I love watching movies and seeing how they are created behind the scenes. I've always had a liking for editing media, as I used to practice and make videos and edits when I was around ten or eleven; so, I am looking forward to editing projects again. Some of my favorite movies are The Batman and Knives out. My favorite show is Outer Banks. I am a fan of action, mystery, and teen movies. Furthermore, I absolutely loveeee listening to music often such as rap, r & b, and hip hop. Travis Scott, Drake, SZA, The Weeknd, Future, and Kendrick Lamar are some of my favorite artists. My favorite albums are Astroworld by Travis Scott, Heroes & Villains by Metro Boomin, and Trilogy by The Weeknd. Finally, my favorite cuisines are Mexican food and Italian food I also have a huge, sweet tooth. That’s all about me, see you in the next blog!

Production blog - Filming is done!

    Hello bloggers and welcome back! My group and I have finished our filming process. I filmed today on saturday and filmed the car, restaurant and beach scenes. It started by my friends coming over around 12. While the plan was shot at the beach at night due to it being spring break Lindsay’s parents did not want her at the beach at night I had to make changes. I told everyone to bring the same costumes from before. Once everyone arrived my group and I changed into our costumes which was the sun dresses. Then my group first started in the car. In order to film the dialogue films I made sure the car was parked as it would be dangerous to try to act while driving. I took a short clip when my group was actually driving as a quick clip to add.           Hey bloggers it's Mela again! Hope you are having a great day! Recently I've started to work on my commercial about me. My first step was downloading the materials necessary to create my commercial. As mentioned in my introduction blog I am familiar with some editing software already such as Imovie and Capcut. However, I decided to download some new apps with different features to create a more unique commercial. Videoleap, VLLO, and Vont are all the new apps I installed to work on my commercial or other projects in the future. After downloading the apps, I wanted, I started planning the order in which I wanted my commercial to be. However, before that, I decided to edit my photos and videos to make them how I liked. I did this by shortening some of the videos to my desired length.          After, I adjusted the effects of the videos such as the brightness, exposure, saturation, etc. I did the same for my photos.
