Pitch A: Three girls discover a treasure map washed up on the shore so they follow the map and are brought on an adventure.

Pitch B: A group of friends go out to dinner and discover a killer secret about their friend.

Discuss Pitch A: This movie idea would be exciting to film, but it may be hard to produce. Our original idea was to open the movie at the beach, which would be easy to do since we live close. However, since it is a treasure hunt, we would have to travel to multiple places on the map which may be hard for us to accomplish. Also, it may be difficult to create the treasure map and to make the scene of us finding the map look realistic. Furthermore, This is a very general and overused plot line, so it may seem repetitive.

Discuss Pitch B: This movie idea seems amusing to produce. Our plan would be to film at the beach, at night, near our houses. We would make use of the utilities at the beach, like the restaurants and social events. However, there are some drawbacks. Since it is a murder mystery, we would have to act out gory scenes, which may be hard to do, but we do have the idea to use fake blood to make the scene more realistic. Also, we plan to include members of our peers groups to create a more socialized film and to add creativity, which is easily doable, since many of our peers also live in the same area.

Our Final Decision: Since we are not able to drive to many places, we decided to go with Pitch B: A group of friends go out to dinner and discover a killer secret about their friend.
